So many have asked " What was the process of getting started in the Food Truck Industry for Rick's Hit The Spot?
Though we had a lot to tell , we only wanted to share the good of our story never intended for those to be discouraged in the process.
Our Transition from Ohio to Arizona was very Tiresome driving 5 long days on the road leaving Family & Friends behind was heartbreaking ,but we were on a Lifetime Dream that we could only imagine of having. Once we arrived in Arizona, we begin the process immediately.
Enrolling in Restaurant Classes & getting Licensed. Online Classes are provided for those who are very busy. And "NO" you do not have to own a Restaurant to start a Food Truck!!
Driving many trips to the Maricopa County Environment Services gaining information in what was needed for the Food Truck Industry. They took us by the hand; Step by Step. We were grateful how they Welcomed us in providing the help that we needed. Wonderful People! While we are waiting for the Completion of our Food Truck from Food Cart USA! Please Check Out Food Cart USA!! They will make your Dreams Come True!! Thanks Mrs Tanya & Martin!!
We continued in the Start up process. Searching Good Suppliers that have very Good customer base to ensure their products are moving fast for Freshness & Good Quality ingredients. Contacting the Commissary; which is required by the State of Arizona for your Water & Waste etc..Arizona Revenue Taxation for Tax purposes. Also, Articles of Organization which is another requirement to get your Business submitted in Arizona. You will need for your Food Truck to be Insured.. Look for a replica Company that will give the best rates.. I do recommend Total Coverage if you can afford the cost. As Location spots, it was not as difficult as we thought; However, Restaurants are not very pleased with Food Trucks moving into their territory! We found that out quickly! Our best option was to knock on doors of Company's to find out information of the Property or Management. We did not want to be parked anywhere that was not allowed many suggested we park until they run you off.. Not an option at all! It didn't feel good! But Thanks anyway!
We wanted to serve our own Community because we felt the Food Truck Industry did not have much Exposure in Goodyear. Actually the majority of people have never heard of a Food Truck which we were very surprised. Many people have embraced our Business and glad we are here to serve our Community. We have met so many upcoming Food Trucks Owners who have such a passion for this Industry. We encourage you to go all the way, you'll be glad you did.
To give just a brief of our Journey I realize this may not be everyone's experience, but you can live your Dream; just Step Out and Do it!! we feel so Blessed to have an Opportunity that only one could Dream of. To the Future Food Truck Owners, we are here for you, please feel free to stop by if we can be any assistance to you!
To God Be the Glory for what He has done!
